The house is kind of feeling close with Toby having some bad days so when Quentin gets a door, he goes through and searches for Yamato. He knows there's a free concert at the end of a fair with lots of food trucks happening and that should be fun.

When he got dressed he tried to look nicer, so he's wearing a button down shirt, his hair's wet and he's fiddling with his cuffs as he waits at the counter.

He shrugs and shakes his hair, "I guess, its the whole not human thing."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Maybe," Yamato says. "Or, er, just the whole thing where you're, um, very pretty."

[heatherandsteel]

"Oh," Its not something he thinks about and he gets pinker.

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Y-Yeah, so, um. That's probably it."

[heatherandsteel]

He has no idea what to say, being pretty is just there for him, he's one of the Fair Folk, but the way Yamato says it gets to him, "I um, everyone I know is kind of like this and you're you and awesome."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"You're making me blush," Yamato mutters, looking just about anywhere that isn't Quentin's face.

[heatherandsteel]

"You make me blush, I'm being fair," He darts a kiss to Yamato's cheek.

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"I don't do it on purpose," Yamato says, even if he does sound a little bit happy about it.

[heatherandsteel]

"I like it when you do," And he likes hearing Yamato being happy.

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Y-Yeah? I, um, sometimes think it's fine when you make me blush, too," Yamato says, fixing his gaze on some particularly interesting leaves.

[heatherandsteel]

"Then I guess we kind of work," The slow song finishes and Quentin doesn't really want to let go of Yamato so stays holding him.

Yamato is more than happy to keep holding Quentin, and maybe even tugs him a tiny bit closer.

The band starts up with one last slow song before the end of their set.
